I accidentally deleted a really important contact whilst clearing my phone book. Is there anything I can do to recover it?

Which phone? Try looking for it in the sim contacts. Its very difficult to bring back deleted contacts afaik. Impossible maybe. But i'm not ruling out anything.

i dont think there is anyting to do... but... if you have called the number recently, you can request a list of called numbers from your service provider, and maybe look on there?? also, some service providers (tmobile i think does it) keeps a record of the numbers you have added to ur sim or something weird like that.
but i would ask your service provider for a list of your called numbers, and look on their (if you have called it somewhat recently). its probobly your best option.
