My K700i had to go in for repair this week due to a faulty LCD which cracked. It's being done as a warranty repair but a few problems have kind of arisen (the phone is still with them at the moment).

1. I flashed a branded phone with unbranded firmware which goes against the warranty policy. What's the likelyhood of them checking it? Otherwise I'll probably end up with a bill for about £50. If they do realise it, I'm hoping they might turn a blind eye seeings it's not a firmware related problem.

2. On their website, in repair jobs they claim to update the phone firmware. Do they always carry this out? I don't want to end up back on branded firmware.

3. I could still manage to turn the phone on and off without the screen and enter the phone lock code to get in to the phone which I did to back it up. When I tried it again a few hours afterwards and entered my phone lock, it made the clunk like sound it usually makes when you hold the power button to turn it on/off instead of the start up tone. Any ideas what could have caused that? Hopefully if it is a major problem, it's something that's been picked up during the repair job.

Kind of missing it and would have prefered a replacement instead of a repair job but my manager (I work in an electrical shop) wasn't too keen on sending it for a replacement incase they reject it as accidental damage with it being the LCD. Don't know how seeings there was no cosmetic damage to the phone.
