> s700 to v3

I have an s700 right now but i am getting really bad reception on it, this is my second one by the way. And they were both really staticky. I was thinking about changing to the black v3 razr. I know the features are worst but is the reception and better, and is the motorola gui really as bad as they say?

Have you compared the reception quality with other phones? Try using the same sim on two different phones at the same location. What if its a network problem? :-)

i have had a k700, t610,p900 both black and white t630's and many many nokias. all worked fine with this same sim and area. My guess would be its the phone model. But my friend who has an s700 says his works fine. I did replace my phone but still having the same problems. I am thinking about getting an s710 maybe that would be better.

The V3 would be a step backward imho. Its a gr8 looking phone. Nothing else. And yes the build quality is nice.

The K750 sounds right. Get a S710 meanwhile. Is it available in your place? Its got EDGE too.

Oh. Ok. But first do check whether that too has some reception related bugs. Btw, there is a general consensus here that the K700 and the S700 have excellent reception. Yours seems like a one- off case.

I have friends in the US who cursed T68 and T610 to hell for their crappy reception. I have never had problems in Sweden with either one of them..
My V3 is nice i think. UI is a tad slower than K700i, it doesnīt have a lot of features, and was never meant to either, i donīt get it when people complain over lack of features they could have read the bloody spec sheet to find out it doesnīt have in the first place?!
It has if not THE best, easily one of the best RF and call clarity of all my phones so far and now Thanks to Motorolas stupidity, itīs available at really nice price.
Your choice really, just my 2 cents.
