This is with reference to a problem which I have been encountering on my Sony Ericsson P910i smart phone, which is around two months old.
Virtual keyboard icon at bottom of screen, by tapping of stylus on it brings up keyboard for feeding data in phone, tends to disappear some time. At times icon is there, but it is as if it is frozen, and no amount of tapping with make it come alive. It is only by restarting the phone that problem is sorted out for some time.
I have seen this kind of problem being faced by other users also, and this problem has been discussed in Easto forum on Sony Ericsson phones. Is this a problem caused by some software glitch. Is there a permanent solution to this problem. Shall be grateful for an early response.

I have noticed that this heppens when i had my p910 turned on for some weeks, or was it months? Now i just reboot my phone once in a week and so and its all fine;) This message was posted from a Nokia

yeah it usually happens when your p series hasn't been restarted for a while and happens more on a p900 due to less RAM and probably more on the p800. A quick restart should fix it. It sucks but we have to live with it

Happened to me because I had Ezitap installed and had done a firmware update. I had to re-install Ezitap.

It occurs more often with my p910i compared to my. old p800. I had ezitap on my p800 & none on the p910. i used my p800 without flip. Like the rest l just restart to get back the icon. SE should address this problem.
