All depends how they do it.
If they just have people saying "could you please take my photo with this phone?", or "hey look it's Mike calling" that's okay. But if they go "isn't this phone cool, check out how great it is" then that's dodgy.
First instance people can make their own minds up. Second instance, people are being led to believe someone thinks something which they are in fact only being paid to say, and don't believe.
