when i dial calls or have people calls me, quite oftenly it says "encryption switched off" with this little triangle with an ! inside of it appearing
how can i get it to stop doing this, and why does this happen?

I think its related to whether a secure channel is being used by the phone. Check you manual or your phone's inbuilt and you'll see the triangle with a ! is for voice privacy. Maybe some networks dont encrypt the communication... I heard bsnl can be hacked into while its not possible for other networks here in india.
