I am wondering is it ok to make opera the default browser when u click on some software url in P910i?

Some times ebooks are free from downloading with phone.

Is it possible to change the default browser to opera?

Not by any way I know.
URLs e.g. one received by text message will always open in the internal browser.

You could change the button though to be assigned at opera with a 3rd party application. However I am not sure about the name...As far as the links.. i dont think you can assign them with opera..

any 3rd party browser is better than the p*** default browser.how anyone can be arsed scrolling vertically AND horizontally is beyond me.it takes a very patient anorak to do this. This message was posted from a P910

just check the 'narrow layout' option int the built-in browser to rearrange webpages and eliminate horizontal scrolling.

having said that, opera is a very good browser and has its pluses and minuses. try both and see which one you prefer. or maybe keep both on your phone...

Opera's narrow layout on the screen makes it easier on the eyes. And it might be worth looking into the advanced security features of the browser also.
