i previously had a Nokia mobile which i installed a bluetooth carkit for. when using my SE910i with the carkit there is "feedback" to the person speaking to me. is there anyway of sorting this out?

Sometimes feedback can be caused by the mic and speaker being too close together. If the P910 has louder internal volume settings than the Nokia you used previously then moving the mic or speaker is probably quiker/easier than trying to adjust factory settings.
Note: Nokia CK-1W carkits have a preferrence for other Nokia product. This is something that is supposed to have been sorted with CK-7W.
You may find only a S/E kit or aftermarket kit will work properly with the P910.
