Hello people i watch most of the members here and on other forums use their mobiles . Can viewing of mobiles affect our eyesight? I.e. Like t.v.

I checked my eyesight a week ago. It hasn't deteriorated since last year. So, atleast in my case, it hasn't affected my eyesight.

@whiz no you wont be a chimp in 2013...you're a chimp now...just kidding:-). If reading books for a long time affects you eyes, then extensive use of cell phones has to affect you.(theoretically:-D)

cathode ray tubes arent used in cells, so no probs there. But squinting at the small screens can aggravate myopia in those already predisposed to myopic tendencies.
