Congratulation on you purchasing. Take around on this forum as it will add your knowledge and insight about your product (as it did with me years ago).

If you feel that the battery drain so fast, I think after three times charging or a week charging you will experience the optimum battery capacity.

I normally make my initial charge 2 to 3hrs more than the standard quoted time...I've always had decent performance.Anyway, good purchase mate.Look after it,it's a good phone. This message was posted from a Nokia

Welcome to Esato and well done on an execllent choice of phone. To update your firmware using the online update service you need a DSS20 or DSS25 sync station. You can get them from Ebay.
Sold my S700i about 2 months ago but am thinking of getting another tomorrow.

Ok im gonna leave my charging for like 20 hours, its says charge til battery indicator is full?

Anyway i dont see why i should need a sync station to update the firmware? My phone is with O2, SE should atleast make it available that you can download a file and update it somehow?

This is my second SE phone, i still have my K700i.

Cheers

You cant update via IR or Bluetooth as both are affected by the update. At least give people the option to update the phone. Other manufacturers make you take it to a service centre to be done.
