Help ! It appears ive forgotten the pass key for my new t630 phone. I used to use it with my pc's usb bt dongle, and now i cant seem to remember the passkey. Because of this, im unable to use with to exchage files with other devices. I get the message " passkey mismatch" or similar phrases.
How can i reset the passkey so that i can redefine a new one ?

if i'm not mistaken, while pairing phones via BT, both phones have to enter the same passkey during pairing, and this passkey is not fixed or something.... somebody correct me if i'm wrong

I tried master reset and it didnt work ! Also when you input same passkeys to the similar devices it doesnt work. Its like the original passkey on the fone is the default one and any other device must have similar.... at least this is what ive observed.

Gosh.... How do i delete the pairings? Ive basically searched all the menus that may have settings referring to bt pairings to no avail. Ive not yet come across any setting that would allow me to reset or delete the pairings. There surely must be a way to clear the earlier passkey but how ?

On your pc enter my bluetooth places, delete all services, select view devices in range (it's on the right) then right click your phone, unpair, then pair again. And then reinstall services. @govigov that's just the piece of advice! :-] This message was posted from a T610
