> Extension of the backlight time on K700i?
Bookmark topic
The screen on the K700 fades and after a while goes dark even on games, videos etc if you dont press a key. This is very irritating. Is there any way to fix this? Or to extend this time? Anyone? Please! It starts to annoying me too much!

Any suggestion will be welcomed. ANY!

You can make it so the backlight is always on however this will use more battery power.
What you do is go to Settings then Display then go down to Light and select ON. This way the light will always be on.

Why don't you keep the lights settings to "always on"? The lights won't switch off then. But battery life would be pathetic. I don't think the time interval can be extended. Might be wrong though:)..

OKay....ants...Use the powersave option in the display settings. That way you wont have the light switching off when you are playing games & it wont drain your battery either..

whiz...there are 4 options in the backlight settings on a k700i
1) On 2) Off 3) Auto 4) Powersave....I'm too lazy right now to define the auto and
powersave...@ants..you are gonna have to consult you trusty manual for that.
I have mine on Powersave and I dont face the problem that you mentioned

I feel wierd. Cause, in powersave mode, i thought there'd be minimal usage of backlights. But this sounds otherwise!

The powersave mode basically urns off the backlight when the phones in idle mode thereby minimising battery usage
