Dropped my K700i and it died on me yesterday. As a replacement I bought a Motorola E1000 with a free Bluetooth headset for £150 on Vodafone PAYG...double and triple checked had a 14 day return as was sceptical but have to say this thing is the nuts for the money. Pretty crappy branding but no probs with MP3 (or WMA) ringers and the sound quality is better than anything I've ever heard come from a phone. Camera is 1.3mp but is NOT the best but this not an issue for me really....Vodafone package also comes with a memory card and data cable which worked with XP drag and drop no worries and no drivers.....May well be back as change my phones an awful lot but am well impressed up to now....ooh battery life is a bit pants but having had the 700 am sort of used to daily charging!

Good for you, I have also left my K700i, and I have to say WOW, I never realis4ed how annoying the K7 can be, I now have a Samsung E720, WOW, fab phone! The cam is superior, the sound, the size, and most of all, the speeeeed around menus etc, also the creaking I got from my K was appaling.
Glad to have ridden the K to my sister!

Was also looking at E720. Got rid of my D500 as slider was annoying the hell out of me but did like the feature set. The 720 is much the same as D500 but in a flip....what put me off was the removal of IR which seemed a bit strange. Cannot have a BT dongle on my lap top as they all seem to need XP service pack on which I don't have (go figure). Does the 720 come with a data cable and if so does it install easily?

Just went into my local Vodafone store and gave them £150. The phone has been £250 for ages and I thought it was a price error. When I enquired the guy said that was correct as had been reduced and that the Bluetooth headset was still free with it. The headset is £50 in store on its own so the phone is effectivly £100!! Only a £1 credit on the sim but can't have everything....was so happy when discovered no MP3 tones lockout as well....3G mate...its the future!!
