hello everyone,
some of you might know me as davo,
anyway, i want to buy an apple system, ive looked on the internet and found the perfect system for me.

now im planning on running final cut pro on it (pfft $1000 big ones later), but thats it, im not going to hook her up to the internet or anything, its purely for editing purposes.
do you think this is a wise investment??

umm it doesnt come with a monitor so im probably going to get just a normal 15inch LCD for around 250 to 300.....unless you can get them smaller than 15inch...like i said....its only for final cut so i dont need exctravagance

just a couple of questions about the input output ports
does it have an external microphone jack?
what type of speaker jack does it have?
how many usb ports does it have? i know you can plug a usb mouse and keyboard into it but thats just a waste of ports which could be used for my camera? so should i just get the standard apple keyboard and mouse or get another brand?

and no im not going to start another asking for money thread, that thread was just to help me out with the camera (and dont you worry the names of those 4 people who donated will be on the end credits of every film i make with that camera

the reason i need a mac is because you cant run final cut pro on a PC, and final cut pro is the absolute best video editing software you can get..

my mouse just died on me so i have to set up the accesibility wizard so i can use the arrow keys to move the mouse pointer
