Yeah it does look like the s700i but also i think somehow it dosnet look as good, i think it looks chubbier but that might be the oic more square than rectangle.

I'd call it "asian type" I am not sure who copied who here but u gotta remember that these kinds of phones emerged on the japonese market at least one year before Europe. AND Panasonic is a leader in Asia when it comes to mobile phones.
