I know many will know this, but Argos has the V800 for sale.

£399.95 I realise this is a handset only price. I guess you just put your own Vodafone sim in it.

For the sake of complete information I think you should also mention that that is a secondhand phone through a private seller rather than a new one through a retailer

Of course, Argos is pre-pay and Vodafone shop has same for 50 pounds less.

Does anyone know if there is any benefit to buy a pay and go over a contract V800? In terms of services?

pay as u go V800 have nothing difference in term of firmware. Just the box and free vodafone pay go sim card is different.. That's it.. and some books regarding the Pay go stuff..
