Yeah I know, most likely Iīm a stupid sob but nontheless, could anyone of you brilliant people in here tell me how to remove the flip WITHOUT breaking the phone into peaces...

Another question: The phone was locked to a certain operator at the beginning but no longer is. However everytime the phone is turned on now, that operator logo shows in the display. Anyway I can get rid of that?

Thanx a million for all the kind replies that will be posted...
Over and out.

There was a manual that you got with your phone! It is a step by step manual! This message was posted from a Nokia

wecome to Esato. you should always mention which phone you have so we can best help you.

if you have a P800 then you can change the startup and shutdown logos but if its a P900 or P910 then you cannot because they are in the firmware

Youre absolutely right about the manual. Thereīs just one problem. Either the manual doesnīt say anything about these two questions, or Iīm just too stupid or lazy to find the answers. Hence my questions in the forum...

Masseur: Of course, I forgot abt that. It is a 910 so I guess Iīm stuck with the old logo...
No worries though. Not that a big issue really. Thanx mate.

the manual actually refers to a separate leaflet for instructions on how to remove the flip.

if you can't find that leaflet then its available here on the SE support pages
