> Avantgo for P910 - Problems

Has anyone ever got this to work? Please help.
I used to have a Pocket PC and Palm device which sync with avantgo without any problems. I am now having a problem with my Sony Ericsson P910i UIQ Symbian phone. I have not been able to connect with the server to download any content from Avantgo (ERROR 503). I am using a local connection(USB) to the internet and am using the latest PC suite software. I am wondering if Avantgo Connect Program which i have uninstalled from my computer is needed for this P910 phone to sync. If so, where can i download the program. Please assist.
Thank you.

I received a similar error when I tried to use avantgo on my P910. It did work once but I have no idea why it suddenly worked and anyway, its much much (much) slower to sync that it is on pocketpc so after that first successful sync I gave it up as a bad joke
I'm a big avantgo user (about 6.5mb) and it works great on my JAM

Anyone else manage to get Avantgo to work on their phones? Appreciate any input whatsoever.
Or has everyone given up on Avantgo on their phones as I am so close to doing.
Thanks

I have this working on my P910i. It (now) works perfectly; my main critisism would center on the lack of available material.
It wasn't always perfect, in the past when I went to sync Avantgo, the connection would fail and I'd get a DNS error. This was resolved by removing the phone from the cradle and replacing it - Avantgo would then generally work the second time around. This no longer appears to be an issue after I updated my phone with the latest firmware (it's CDA162005/3 with R4A10).
The version of Avantgo I am using is 5.7 build 35
Hope this helps.

I tried AvantGo on my P800 several times. It worked the first time and I never could get it to work again. I tried GPRS, PC connection via cradle and standard GSM data. Zilch!
AvantGo says the UIQ version is beta, and I guess this should have something to do with the problems UIQ users are facing.
Hopefully, they will have it tweaked and fully functional... er.. soon.
After getting my 9500, I rushed to see if there was a Series 80 version. Your guess is as good as mine
