hi guys, I used to use cool edit pro to cut clips of mp3 files to use as ringtones, but the resulting clips had huuuuuge file sizes, does anyone have/reccomend good software that will enable me to make my own clips as ringtones. Preferably easy to use ... that have reasonably file szes at the end of it ...

Sounds to me like the programme your using is formatting your MP3 clips into WAV files. I use "MPtrim" Its easy to use and best of all, Its free:)

mp3DirectCut can cut clips without decoding / reencoding, and it's freeware.
