First, I thought that it wasn't possible to remove the screensaver clock on the T68i that upsets me and a lot of people. This was before I bought a care handfree system. With the car handfree system, something very special happen when I plug it to my T68mi : the light of the screen switchs off and there's no clock (and no gif screensaver aswell) coming. It is exactly how I want the phone to behave all the time!
Now, I'm absolutely sure that there's a way to remove the clock, but we need to put something in the plug behind the phone so that the phone behave exactly like it does with a care handfree system. The only thing is to know WHAT to put in the plug...

If it does, then there's your reason.

i think the screensave with a clock is a great idea...it save battery and acts as a watch to me..thought it can hard to read under sunlight..

I don't really mind the screensaver clock, I actually kind of like it and grown use to it. Although, I would rather prefer some more information on the screensaver, since the screen goes into a monochromatic mode with the clock, I don't see the harm in adding more information to it?
However, if you are too lazy to touch a button or joystick to see if you got an SMS, please go kill yourself right now with the people that think PDA's are better than pencil and paper, or at least go see a doctor.
