> sms tone NOT always working?

hi does anyone else get this? im running a t68i r2b025..
i don't ALWAYS hear the sms alert tone..
esp if i last used the fone in some other menu and left it to standby in that menu..
i will only find out i got a message after i go back to the default screen and see the little envelope...
i will only hear the tone if i make sure to go back to the default screen and leave it there.. then i will have the "NEW SMS" message appearing..
anyone else has this problem? thanks
