> problems defining p910i

i have installed PC Suite for my p910i and connected on COM port 3 via my usb deskstand.
but the little icon does not appear in my tray to show the connection.
when i open the file browser that came with the phone, it says not connected.
i have managed to transfer files using another file manager but i am unable to synchronise my contacts and messages.
in phone monitor options there is no phone or sim detected. i dont know how to solve this.
any help would be great

Try rebooting the phone, rebooting the computer, and unlock the phone (a screen saver locked phone won't connect).

go in to control panel goto phone monitor options and goto com ports select the port that your usb docking station is on and click enable then it should work, if you go to use the update service make sure you disable this again first hope this helps
