Looking for a new phone....i think...
OK, i'm now thinking. this p900 is great but with summer coming i want something lighter and more portable. i just bought a laptop too and a small one (dell 700m from that insane deal) and will be using it for orgnization.
i don't find myself using symbian as much as i thought i would and love the phone but its just too big and cumbersome.
however there are two problems:
1) I LOVE the jogdial; scrolling through messages and contacts and such so easily is amazing. its a small thing but i love it a lot and would miss it greatly.
2) and this is the biggest: the sound (call) quality of this phone has really spoiled me. it is SO clear even at max volume and people hear me great. it is just superb.
so if i get a new phone i NEED that same amazing sound quality and so far none of the phones i've tried come close. i may have to give up the jogdial but i CANNOT give up the sound quality.
i was looking at a siemens s65 and k700. seems classy and nice, but not sure of sound quality. plus i always prefer SE. how is the K700's voice quality compared to the p900's? s700 i hear is good but it is even more expensive than the p900 so i'm not considering it.
any suggestions or input is very very welcome!

Its not out yet but will be better design and technology than the k700 and wicked megapixel camera with autofocus, plus video rec, video player, bluetooth, mp3 etc.......

All SEs have great call quality. The K700 is clear like the P9 but not quite as loud though at times the P9 is too loud.

so mikLSP, seems to me you tried the K700i and the P900. you say it is as clear? i may just buy one then and try it; i guess if its not as good i can return it....you really think it is as clear? as for the volume, yea i don't turn p900 up all the way, usually 3 bars from maximum is fine for me. if k700i can get that high and be as clear i'll definitely be very happy.
thanks for the help guys; i know i'm picky. this p900 spoiled me completely.

The K700i would be a good choice. Price is low right now, you can use it as a modem for your laptop, or you can wait for the K750i. Or maybe you like a flip in this case the Z600 has a good sound, too.

i'm not a fan of flips...i prefer candybar and K700i seems to have better RF, more memory, nicer screen, better build quality. all i need for it is the same sound quality to my p900 and i'll get it to replace it. i think i'll buy one later to try it out.
