> K700i light Automatic or Power Save?
Bookmark topic
Hey.
What will be best for battery life on a K700i, Automatic or Power Save?
I know power save says it is good for battery life, but someone told me automatic is better. Whats the difference?
Cheers

Power save does what its called.
I use automatic however because it is more efficient for the user, for instance it turns the light on and off automatically when you press the volume button to check the time, and turns the light off when charging the phone.
Ive used both, and TBH, i dont see much difference between the two. Set yours to automatic and forget about it.

in power save, if you press the volume button once, the time will show. If you press it a second time, the light will come on to see the time at night.

For me, the time only comes up when you press volume on automatic mode. power save does nothing...

Power Save-
Switches the display off completely after a short period of time, but leaves the phone itself on.
Automatic-
Displays an "inverse" (white text on a black background) clock after a short period of time (I'm pretty sure the clock moves around the screen every so often, but I've never paid that much attention...).
I use the "Power Save" mode, 'cause it saves the maximum amount of battery power possible and with a quick press of the "On/Off" button, you can see the time on the "stand-by" screen...
