hi all,
this forum has helped me with so many things, but i there is one question i have that i couldn't find the answer to. in tracker 4, in the menu under the subheading "Desktop," there is an option to "Save changes now." it's right between lock icons and reload. i looked at the online documentation, but it doesn't seem to mention it and i tried it out, but it doesn't seem to do anything. i was wondering if anyone knew what it does. thanks.

I believe it saves your current shortcuts, quick-dials and whatnot in the current theme file so you can change themes, then when you come back to this one, it will have all the same icons as when you last used it. Also you can load a new theme, then import all the icons and shortcuts or whatever from the previous theme that you saved.

thanks for the input. that's what i suspected it did, but it seems like it does that anyway even when i don't click to save changes. that's why i am confused. any other ideas?

I find that if I change my shortcuts, and don't select Save Changes Now, then next time I restart my phone, they've gone back to the previous layout.
