> SE k700i Vs Nokia 6230i

I currently have a k700i but Im seriously considering buying a Nokia 6230i. I know this isnt the best place to ask for a unbiased opinion (considering your all SE fans lol).
The 6230i is going to cost me a lot so I am having second thoughts but the fact that it can go up to 512MB memory (and possibly 1GB) with a MMC, has an FM Radio and all the other great features really is making me seriously consider it and sell my k700i.
Any advice on what I should do?

i'd advise wating a few weeks and get the k750i. The 6230i is just a rehash of albeit a very good seller for nokia. But its a phone either every1 will have or will soon be getting. whereas at least with sony ericsson you can still be a bit more of an individual. But hey i'm gettin the samsung e720 soon (and thats a rehash of an e700) so who am i to talk? but i'm also gonna get the k750i on upgrade as well. happy days!

the 6230 has a small screen, quite crap mp3 support, no camera light, and other bad things. the only good thing about it is the memory card support. this has been discussed lots of times. look at other posts to get a better idea!

I'm talking about the 6230i not the 6230. And yes it does seem to be just a rehash of the 6230 with a few extras but still undoubtedly a top phone. Is it better than the k700i though thats what I want to know.
Also regarding the k750i, haven't done much reading about that but yes it does seem like a great phone, looks much better than the 6230i and has better features. Should I just wait for the k750i and forget the 6230i?

Dont bother with the 6230i, I have tested the 6230i and it really isnt that special, its only a 6230 with a better screen (very good quality but still to small), but slower UI, slower sms, bad T9 implementation, poor 1.3mp cam, poor videoplayback, poor javaperformance, no themingsupport, many firmwarebugs because it was rushed to the market in order to get launched before k750.
Wait a month and get the k750, its a much better choise in every aspect. More or less every feature is better. Only thing 6230i has that k750 hasnt is EDGE.

yes it does, but a poor one. Not nearly as good as other Nokia 1.3mp cams like in 6630 and nowhere near the quality of the k750 2mp cam

Well personlly i think even the 6230 it self is better then the k700. Just needs the latest firmware.
If the k750 wasn't around the corner then i would say go for the 6230i but it is!! Soo.. wait for the k750 it has a better camera, memory can go upto like 2gb +. I think the 6230i can go up to 2gb and + too. Bigger screen, video edit, picture edit, music dj, the latest java.

The 6230 has a 0.3 camera
The 6230i has a 1.3 megapixel... but a poor 1. Still beats 0.3 though!
