OK i have a EPO USB Bluetooth Dongle. I can pair my phone and computer, I have sendfile and the package of software from SE installed, but can't get sendfile to recognize that there is a connected phone... Once I get them paired I then click on serial port 1 within my bluetooth settings and then it connects for transfers. When i do this the bluetooth icon on the phone gets the two triangles showing that there is a connection, however sendfile still wont work, does anyone have any help?

the author of sendfile could answer the q better, but for the meantime you can use sonyericsson mypictures or float's fma to transfer files to your phone.

Have you made sure that no other programs are using the Mobile Phone Monitor? If they are then sendfile won't work. Make sure that Xtnd isn't running as it always wants to start up immediately.

The EPoX Bluetooth dongle is such a hoser. It made a total mess out of my computer. It added 8 virtual Serial Ports to the machine. There is no recognition of a USB connection anywhere. It's a USB product, you'd think it would recognize the USB port. So you're saying I need to click on Serial port 1? I only have options of serial port 4-8 or something like that.
If I right click on a file (image) and select "Send To -> Bluetooth -> Device..." it looks for the phone and gives me a message that my phone is not capable of performing a file transfer.
I hope someone can help!! I'm going to return it and get the TDK if I absolutly have to.

@jeremy152
The Ericsson phones doesn't support the bluetooth file transfer profile.
You have to use a program lika Sendfile or MyPicture that uses MPM (MobilePhoneManager).
