You´re not blind. AFAIK no Ericsson/SE has ever had iTap..
It should have T9 though
And if they haven´t changed keypad layout since T610, you can switch it on and off either by pressing the '*'-key or by pressing 'more' key while in new message menu and choose T9 under input methods.
