This has nothing to do with my phone but there must be some computer wizzes in this forum.

I suppose that I could say this affects my encoding and trherefore affects peoples and my P series.

I am trying to reinstall my drivers for my graphics card but I keep getting a windows 0x80040707 error message.

FU*KING WINDOWS BO!!OCKS...

Please help...

Well what you need to do is uninstall the driver and the hardware. Then reinstall the hardware first, then the software, then update the driver with the latest from the graphics card manufacturer.

That error is often caused by invalid registry entries that prevent the installshield application from unpacking it's contents to the correct places. There's deatailed instructions on how to check and repair the registry here:

Make sure that you either make a system restore point or back up the registry before you start hacking it!

Its a A radeon 9800, For now I just performed a restore to 2 days ago which putback the older drivers and software which works at the moment. The rwason I tried upgrading them is because I was watching some streaming vidio and got an error saying that there was a problem with the graphics card not performing the tasks the drivers requested bla bla or something like that...

I will check the registy information as there is a problem somewhere that needs to be sorted, but at least I have it working for the moment... Thanks people.

Edit Just upgraded the driver now and for some reason it worked fine.... not complaining. Windows sucks big time... I would rather get a mac but I dont know how to use them.
