> P800: PC Suite - Old Versions?

My P800 came with PC Suite v1.4.0
After a recent re-format of my computer, I'm now back at this version, with it seems no prospect of upgrading.
Sony Ericsson are now up to 3.1.1
They say: "Release 3.1.1 of the PC Suite is primarily intended as an upgrade from Sony Ericsson PC Suite, release 3.0.0"
When I tried installing 3.1.1 it can't find my phone.
I'm fairly certain that 3.1.1 DID work with my phone before.
I'm speculating that perhaps I need to go through some of the intervening versions in order for 3.1.1 to work for me.
Does anyone know of any links to the older versions of PC Suite?

you should not have to install earlier version to get this 3.1.1 installed and indeed none of the notes on the
3.1.1 download page mention this as a requirement.
if you haven't already, right click on the sync station settings in the system tray and ensure that the usb port is ticked

I reckoned you were probably right, so I tried installing it again.
However, I didn't have to configure anything... the little bugger found the phone straightaway this time.
Computers? Who'd have 'em.

thats good, the SE sync software can be tempremental at times and people complain about Microsofts activesync software but thats heaps better IMHO than the SE software.
my next thoughts would have been firewalls etc but since you are sorted... no more to do
