I have just upgraded from a P900 to a P910. GPRS all worked fine with my P900 and Mac Powerbook. I upgraded and now cant connect. When I connect to GPRS via bluetooth all seems to be ok. It connects, authenticates etc as before but when I use any program nothing works even though it shows its connected. There seems to be no incomming data at all. Can anyone help.

Many thanks

Alf

Did you upgrade the firmware or did you change the phone? This message was posted from a K500

Make sure its still your igprs account thats being dialed. Also did you uninstall p900 gprs modem and install p910 modem instead?

Yup...have u uninstalled the earlier modem and reinstalled the new one...also check if the modem is dialling the right gprs a/c....just go to control panel> phones & modems> select the modem> properties>diagnostics >query modem
in the query log check if the right server name is being dialled by the modem...

I just looked on the Sony Erricson support page. There are modem scrips here but they seem to be for pc only,

thanks again

i have tried to download new scripts, I cant find any information on how to connect a P910 to GPRS via a Mac. Crazy as I thought this combination is very common.
