I have decided to start getting people to pester SE for info on the p1000 so if you are a person that will be buying a different brand of phone if SE have not released or given word of releasing the p1000 by the end of the year.
But i dont know how to do this so lets all just pester them via there own customer contact system a simple enquiry like "when will we be getting news on the p1000" would be sufficent.

The more people that do this the more likely it is that something will happen.

interesting idea but from previous experience such the message tones petition, T68i java petition etc I have very little confidence that any pressure like this will cause

to release details any sooner than they are happier to do

if you dont try then we wont know, the consumer has a bit more power now than back in the t68i days. if you send the email and nothing happens then you have lost nothing but if you dont send it we will never know.

the longer the wait with the P1000 the better it should be. patience is gold. and if we are not happy with the P1000 (feature wize, design style or release date) then we should start a possible boycot against SE.

an offical "yes we have a p1000" would do me just somthing on there web site would keep me happy and a release date.

the problem with getting

to give an official "yes we have P1000" (which we know will come one day for sure) is that then you'll have a whole load of impatient people wanting to know more about the specs, availability etc and this was the problem with the P800 release. Also

have to beware of releasing too much info too early for competition reasons

I really think you are on a losing battle with this one I am sorry to say
