Hi all, new to this forum.
I just have a quick query. I have never owned a phone that was an MP3 player and im looking into the K700i.
What i want to do is be able to transfer mp3 type files from my computer using Bluetooth and then use that sound as my ringtone or text message signal. Im only talking mp3 clips that are less than 10 seconds.
Is that possible to do with this phone? ... and if the answer is no, is it possible to do with any model of phone?
Thanks for any help in advance,
Chris

Yeah you can transfer the sounds via bluetooth and use them as ringtones however you can't use them as message signals

Also worth mentioning is that some K700i phones cannot use mp3 tones if bought from companies like Vodaphone or Orange.
Some operators like Vodaphone disable the function in order to force you to buy ringtones from them.
Its better to check before buying from an operator to ensure that they allow MP3 ringtones on their K700i.
Either that, or buy the phone unbranded from

themselves.

Well its an upgrade from Vodafone. When i called them up i said i specifically want a phone with bluetooth and that i want to be able to transfer my own mp3 files onto it. So if it isnt that guy is gonna get a talking to! lol.
Thanks for the help,
Chris

Some Vodaphone K700i's are fine, some arent.
Before they send you the phone, ask them, if not tell them
you want an unbranded phone.
Otherwise they'll send a heavily branded handset with a different interface, silly Vodaphone text labels and no MP3 support.
