my p910i backlight gets off...i dunno how?...
i have to swtich off den go to control panel -> display -> power and set to auto and now its happening many a times in a day...

The backlight will go off when you dont use the phone when it is set to "automatic". Set it to "on" if you want it to stay on all the time.

obviously everyphone backlight when its set automatic it will get off for a while...but when u click a button..at that time..the light comes back right?

try to close the applications after qith "close"ing them. In my phone, when i open a graph and leave it @ ram, the same problem occurs. Is it the same ??

I had the same problem with my p910i last week. The backlight would fade to off even though I was pressing buttons and using the stylus.
Have you installed any new app's lately? I had, I can't remember which app it was but the day I installed it was the day the problem started. I un-installed the app and deleted any associated files I could find with s-man, the problem stopped.
I'll try to remember which app it was and let you know.
