Sorry if this is daft, but can I tell what firmware is roughly on the current k700i`s?I guess a lot depends on how long shops have been sitting on stock. Is there any indication on outside of the box or is the only way to enter code?
cheers slim7

Afaik, the only way to find out that is by entering the service menu. But why bother? Even if its an older version, one can update it!

yeah but pulled together nicely along with a few other faqs by wrath000 who subsequently bought a Nokia 6230 and dissapeared and left me to maintain it and I have fallen behind a bit as you say

He was a good bloke, we used to have a laugh, wonder what happened to him?

Yeah its a shame.

Well at least he won't be forgotten! If you want masseur instead of you taking the load you could just ask Esato itself to PM you with information like latest firmware so all you have to do would be to edit the post and add it in?
