Hello this is my problem: i download vie new theme creator and i begin theme creating.when i want to add a background the soft ask me 176*220 but the problem it's i want use the 176*176 background of my favourite K700i theme.so it is normal they ask this size because the standby screen are same and it's possible to add piece of picture in the 176*176 background to transform it in 176*220 ???

I'm not sure I understand you completely,, but if you insert 176*176 while it needs 176*220, the phone will 'stretch' your image to fit and it will look distorted. (or else it'll leave 'empty bits' around your image) So you'd do best to find the original image and cut a piece that matches 176*220 and use that
