Lo all.

Got my dss-25 this morning.

Installed all drivers from SE fine. Updated to required driver version via davinci download page.

Can't get the client to connect to the davinci server??? Dunno what to do next.

Tyring to unlock/debrand my phone then flash to latest firmware version.

I hate that T-mobile pink colour.

Have you bought credits. I think you can only connect to their server when you have purchased valid credits as you have to enter a username and password on the client.

If I were you I would check that you can connect to your phone first. To get the best connection, remove the phone battery whilst it is still switched on. Reinsert the battery and place on dss-25. Make sure you do not have the external power cord plugged into the dss-25.

Yeah. I bought credits via paypal. Very fast response.

All I'm getting is this:

You are connected to Internet!
Getting data from server...
Error connecting to server!

It's the same responce if I click the 'Info' or 'Get files from Web' button.

:edit:

Forgot to add that it Reads the CID/Test cable fine.

Yep.

I'm using 12.8 here too.

:EDIT:

Anyone know what port the Client uses? Might be the company firewall stopping access.

Actually, I remember a problem like this. I updated to a new Davinci version from an old version. It didn't connect to the right server.

I downloaded the registry update file and tried that but it didn't work. I checked which part of the registry the registry file was supposed to update and then did it myself. Worked fine then.

Cheers for that.

Never thought of checking it manually.

Got an email from davinci with ip and port details so I'll have a look now.

Systems admins are never around when you want them :/ I was gonna ask him to check the the firewall for meh.

:edit:

Wierd

The value of the IP is set at "3c5phsaVeUGgdFVw=="

I was expecting to see an IP address and maybe a port number????
