Does anyone, or has anyone been able to change the flashing GREEN LED on any of these headsets to a flashing BLUE LED??? Is this even possible? The main problem I see here is that the LED module is a dual-color LED red/green unit. Is there such a thing as a red/blue LED unit that could replace this??? Anyone??? Anyone from Ericsson or from SonyEricsson??? Thanks!

sure you can .. if you can open your BT head set you can change it your self .. you just have to solder out the old 1 and replace a new LED on to it but you got to chk the + / - side .. good luck ..

I did open it up... thing is, it's a dual LED... the red and green LEDs are one unit... (which is probably why all Ericsson phones have the green/red indicator capability)

So if I remove the existing LED, I lose the red LED... unless there's a blue/red single unit LED out there with the same power req as the existing one. :s

Hi,
Dual LED's are just two leds connected in parallel with opposite polarity. So it should be possible to replace them with two seperate LED's, connected in opposite directions. The question is if there is room for two LED's there.

Another question, do blue LED's have the same voltage as green ones?

Some LEDs (dual or single) have a builtin resistor. I don't know if this is common in cellphones. If the original do - and the replacement doesn't, the replacement will burn
