> New Fans - Need help ?

Hello ladies,
I just installed a new fan in the back of my pc, i cant remember if it was meant to be blowing in or blowing out i set it blowing in, my temp on my unit is now reading 55 it used to be about 45, do you guys know which is best for the fan at the back?
Also it had no screw marks in the holes, i actualy had to screw them into raw plastic cause there was no thread in the hole!

The fans blow out in order to remove hot air from inside. Blowing in may work if the surrounding air is really cold but that's not always going to be the case

Most cases are about as air tight as a cheese grater.
If you've got rear fans, have them blowing outwards to expell the hotair form the case and more specifically the CPU.
If you have a top fan, (Or blow hole as it can be called) have it blowing outwards too.

Got two, one on processor with heat sink and fins. The other below the smps blowing definitely out.

If we are gonna be picky then ive got six
1 on the PSU
A small one on the Motherboard
1 at the back
one on the processor blowing out of the side via a tube (like a tumble dryer tube)
and finnaly 1 on both my sli 6800's
