Is it possible to set an animated background? When I set standard "Screensaver" (bouncing logo) as a background - it doesn't move. Im asking because screensaver doesn't appear on the screen for a long period of time .

No you can't make the background picture move. And you don't have to wait for the scv to appear just press and hold #.
