Hello i recived one yesterday, and one today both to my work account which is strange cause not many outside people know my work account, also i have never signed up to anything with my work email.

First goes:

Ryan,

Just to let you know, this is the agreed menu for the big meal out on the 29th. Please advise as to whether you can attend and what options you have selected.

Also, Bob Chalmers has requested that you DO NOT wear your moleskin trousers again - no-one wants a repeat of the 2003 incident.
Anyhow, just to let you know we're trying to sort out the seating arrnagements allocation and I need to know who to seat you with now that Chi Wei Chung and Ishkender Yamul have pulled out. Barnaby Fulcrum will hopefully let you know by the end if the day who you will be seated with.

Starters
Cream of Mushroom Soup with bread roll (v)

Prawn Cocktail

Spicy Chicken Wings

Main Course

Battered Haddock with chips and peas

Vegetarian Lagagne (v)

Three Shire Sausage with Mashed Potato and Onion Gravy

Desserts

Lemon Cheesecake

Treacle Sponge with Custard

Meals marked with a (v) are vegetarian options

Cost : To Be Confirmed.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Wells

second goes:

How ya doin Ryan

I've pencilled you in for July 23rd and if you could let me know before then I'd be grateful - we're trying to sort out the tent allocation and I need to know who to twin you with now that Chow Yun Fat and Mishtaq Sayeed have pulled out.

Well, must crack on. The antiques trade never stands still and I've got a set of ornamental goats to pick up from Chipping Sodbury.

Enjoy your afternoon.

Yours in sport,

Pittsy

Now i cant actually see the point in these emails all tho the first one about mole skin trousers made me laff, anyone ever got anything simular, they cant be just random cause they know my name, both are yahoo email addresss and i replied to both but got no reply from them!

oh, i see. i read it as your emails were yahoo. hmm. i don't know!

can you reply with big letters in the subject saying: "I QUIT AND I'M NOT GOING TO YOUR STUPID DINNER"

it could be just an elaborate junkmail! something to get your attention? replying could put you on their mailing list.

It sounds like a weird marketin campaign... You know like when Microsoft setup those weird bee keeping websites to advertise halo2?? Come to think of it, i read somewhere that MS were doing it again for the xbox2....

Could be, just sounds like some L337 idiot sending random e-mails to random peeps. Although to honest it sounds to intelligent to be one of that lot.
