> How scratchfree is S700i's display?

Hello, my S700i will be soon coming back from the repair service and i was wondering the following thing:
The screen of the S700 is scratchfree, but how long will it stay like that when normal using? I mean putting in and out your pocket. Because i had experience with my K700i, after a few weeks of putting in and out of my pocket i noticed little scratches.
I wanted to know because i wanted to put a plastic cover on the screen, only problem is that the screen looks less nice with plastic on the front. Also the image is a little bit less.

To be honest, I wouldn't worry too much about it, just use and enjoy the phone! What I would do though, is be careful both what pocket I put the phone in, and what goes in with it. If possible, put the phone in a pocket by itself, and don't put anything like coins, keys, or anything like that that could rub against the phone and scratch it. And don't do what I've done many a time, which is put it in a shirt pocket, then bend down to do something and the phone falls out and clatters across the floor!

After 4 months of heavy use I can hardly notice any scratches on mine.
Compared to most other screens it lasts quite well. I think SE have used a tougher type of glass on the screen, which is a very good decision.

I've had my S700 8 months now & I have no screen scratches at all :) Some me the silver on the case has worn off tho :(

Pockets are full of dust, keys, coins etc. not to mention the static electricity that builds up and kills electronic circuits or the body moisture that creates moisturedamage, one of the most common reasons for phones mailfunctioning
Carying phones in pockets will eventually ruin it in some way. Either from one of the above mentioned reasons or from blows when people sit on it or bang it into something.
Keep your phones in suitable nonstatic protective phone cases and they will keep on functioning problemfree and scratchfree for years.
