> Backing up SMS to computer etc?
Bookmark topic
Hi,
Does anyone know of any Mac softwar I can use to backup my SMS messages etc on my Powerbook?
My P900 looks like it's on its last legs, mainly down to lack of storage and me seeing no discernable way to manage it.
So I'd like to shift some of my 800+ text messages somewhere, for a start, to make some room.
Ideally, I'd like to shift them to external memory but, bizarrely, there seems no way to do they're stuck on the internal memory.
Or... maybe you know of some software I can use to store my texts on my computer and delete them from the phone? Ideally, I could then restore the texts to this or another phone.
thanks

I use it to back up my SMSs from my K700 but it doesn't list P900 compatbility, so you'd have to give it a try.
I've read the Pxxx series phones don't have the required AT commands to send/access SMSs from computer.

piAccess Link adds the AT commands missing from P800/P9x0 for SMS and phonebook management. Under MacOS it can be used with MegaCellX.
