I have this on my MSDuo card as a .sis file. (I can see it on my PC's card reader) but can't find it on my phone to commence install.
Do I need to move it to a particular folder for my phone to find it ?

you must put it in a special folder, in mine, i put them into:
H:\MSSEMC\P-Series\Media files\other
try it, the 2 folders depend on your computer but the .sis files must be in X:\XXXX\P-Series\Media files\other , in that way, you can find the application .sis file with your file manager in your phone
