ok..im on my way to the
serv center to update the fw on my p800. im on r1f organizer version...im told r2d02 is the one i should get. ive taken a backup ...is there anything else i should keep in mind? any advice would be highly welcome.

Dont use restore backup. It might not work or will make more mess in your system. New sys files will be replaced with old.
Just copy your contacts and shedule on pc and write dovn list of prog to reinstall.
