well i've got some imp. sms's on my phone and i would like to save them to my pc or MS Duo.....

is there any way i can do it?
coz i need to format my phone memory...

i am using a p800...

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would be surprised if there isn't a software package for a pc that has this feature.

Transferring sms's to a pc was possible with a Nokia 8210 and Oxygen Phone Manager (using infrared).

There has to be a way to do this. Anyone know how?

I also looked up that Oxygen Phone Manager software and it turns out they have a version that supports Pxxx phones.

I haven't used this version of the software (yet), but the old version was great. Using the software might make tranferring a large number of messages easier.

If you want to export it to a txt file it works very well with SMSChat. You can choose sms from all contacts or just specific ones: http://my-symbian.com/uiq/app[....]ications.php?fldAuto=874&faq=2

I have used afew different SMS programs so far, but I havent been able to find one that will covert EACH SMS to a txt file, it will do them all in one go. Anyone know one that will do this?

Also, I have most of my SMS saved to another folder 500+ SMS, and most of these programs dont recognise this folder. HELP!!

But SMSChat can at least copy all sms from a single person to a txt file. If you just want each sms on a single txt file you can open the sms, copy and paste in to the freeware Jtxt but ohhh what a job you will get...

use s&w sms manager. it will do all you wanted, save it, save it to folders, export to pc, and the best is you can have it password protected

It is designed for P800 but it works fine on my p910i.
