Hey I was wondering if there was any tutorials anywhere on how to make HID files for remotes. I have a SE S700i, any help would be great!

welcome to Esato

take a look at this thread as there are a couple of good links

How do you write HID files for the K700i?

edit: and this thread looks useful too

A program to make HID-profiles

Cheers the Sony one works a treat!

Am I right to think you cannot add commands for programs that override other programs if they are in the foreground? For example my keyboard has media keys that work whether the media player is the selected window or not. Just wondering!

i made a simple winamp.hid.

can control: play, pause, stop, vol up/ down, next/prev track , search (5 sec) ffw/ backw, 10 track forward /backward

it looks ugly, but works.

if anybody interested, drop me an email, and i send it.
