rar is a zip format just like winzip you have to unzip the rar file with winrar software . And then upload it to your set. Thats all... This message was posted from a T610

nope.. u would require a pc to unzip the .rar file and upload only the .3gp file to your phone... i am not sure whether winrar exists for the phone itself..

I've heard of a software for s60 devices which handles .rar files...something similar to zipman. The same should be available for p series as well i guess. You could ask in s60 forum at prodigits @greggy...they'll tell you the name.

The P-series is a bit outdated buddy. You get a program for a S60.Althou very similar to your operating system is not quite the same and it would'nt work.Most programmers big of small like myself have moved completelly to the S60 platform and don't bother to reencode the routines for the P-series. @greggy... The only unzippers for uiq are zipman1.4 and symbzip,and they're both old hat unfortunately.Zipman 2.31 for the s60 platform will unzip files with .zip,.rar and .tar extensions.This downfall with uiq really gets me somewhat miffed. This message was posted from a Nokia
