How accurate are SMS delivery reports? Is it possible to receive a report that says the message is delivered while the actual message isn't? Are reports 100% accurate?

I would say about 80 to 90 % of the time. But some particular networks have some errors, and will show delivered as soon as we send it. This message was posted from a K500

The deliver report it allmost 100% acurate in the same network but from a network to another the deliver report informs that the msj has arrived to the server in the other network.

Thats true! I've seen this happen when you try to send a message from a gsm to a cdma operator.
