try installling your motherbaord drivers (Chipset drivers)

Aka nForce rivers for an nforce baord, VIA 4-in-1 for any via board, Intel chipset drivers for your board or others.

If you knwo yor motherboard make and model then the comapny should already have a link to the drivers for it.

try clicking on add hardware in the control panel and see what happens,if that dont work then try going into the bios of your pc and setting all defaults.

Dude, you´re not looking hard enough at ASUS´s support site. They have drivers for 5 years old motherboards (model escapes me right now), i got them a month ago anyway.

Your network card didn't come with a cd? Find all the cds that you got with your computer and install anything remotely relevent. If something is missing your going to have to search company sites. This message was posted from a T630

loading bios defaults will not harm your pc at all. if all else fails format your pc and re install xp.
